PV Sindhu Flies Indigenous Combat Aircraft Tejas at Bengaluru Air Show

The homegrown plane was flown by the Chief of Staff of the Army, Bipin Rawat, on Thursday, who called it a wonderful plane.

Women’s Day, which was observed today in the exhibition, showed the achievements of women in the aerospace sector.

Three IAF fighter pilots also piloted BAE Systems plc’s advanced aircraft trainer Hawk-I and an improved version of the Russian-made MiG-21.

The successful women in the sector were congratulated on the occasion and a book and a film about ‘Women in aviation’ will be launched.
