New Zealand seek white-ball redemption against India in three-match T20I series

After suffering a total loss of 4-1 in the international one-day series, New Zealand will try to regain some confidence in the white-ball cricket when its three-game T20I series against India begin on Wednesday.

The visitors will present a change of order superior to their side T20, generally solved, with the opener KL Rahul and the captain Virat Kohli, both absent.

India also has to make some difficult decisions in its squad between the players of all the rounds Krunal Pandya and Kedar Jadhav and the spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav. International T20 Cricket

Meanwhile, Kane Williamson’s team has its own headaches with starter Martin Guptill, who was sidelined by an injury that was detected during the ODI series.

Rapid bowler Trent Boult is also missing for the Black Caps, but James Neesham has been called to the team.

The recent T20I form of New Zealand has been disappointing, as it won only two of its last seven series of more than 20, but India has yet to win a series as a visitor in the shortest format of the game, falling short on their visit of 2009.
