Before, the hosts restored parity when Alfaro converted a penalty from the spot after Raju Gaikwad knocked down Diego Carlos in the box.

The striker remained calm and sent the goalkeeper the wrong way to level it, while the local fans broke into frantic celebrations.

In the first half, FC Pune City seemed to have collapsed under pressure, as Balwant made an individual run from the left before unleashing a powerful shot in the bottom corner of the net. He showed an excellent technique when the veteran cut from the left and found the angle for the shot.
