Moto Christmas Offer: Limited period discounts on Moto G5, Moto G5S, Moto Z2 Play and more


Motorola has announced interesting discounts on its entire range of smartphones in India. Offers are available on e-commerce platforms, as well as in all major mobile retail stores, including MotoHub stores across the country.

Motorola says customers can take advantage of these discounts for limited periods on Moto smartphones until December 30 and it’s part of their retail Christmas offerings. Here is the discount available on Moto phones:

Moto Z2 Play
The flagship smartphone in the Moto line will be available for 24,999 rupees as part of a limited period discount, below the 27,999 rupees. The Moto Z2 Play is a slim 5.9 mm modular smartphone that features a completely metallic monoblock design. The smartphone has a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone works with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 chipset along with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.

The Z2 Play has a main camera of 12 megapixels with aperture of f / 1.7, phase detection and laser autofocus. You get a 5 megapixel selfie camera with aperture f / 2.2 and support for 1080p video recording. It has a fingerprint sensor mounted on the front, runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat and is compatible with a 3,000 mAh battery.

The Moto Z2 is a unique smartphone with support for connectable modules that are connected through magnetic Pogo pins. Compatible Moto Mods include a Hasselblad True Zoom model with 10x optical zoom, physical shutter and zoom controls. Other Mods include a gamepad mod that includes a D-pad, physical controls and a 1.035mAh built-in batter. There is a Moto Turbopower package that adds 3,490 mAh of battery to the smartphone, while JBL SoundBoost 2 improves the overall audio quality of the smartphone.

Moto G5 and G5S
The Moto G series has been the best-selling smartphone series for Motorola in India. The Moto G5 and G5S will be available at a discounted price of Rs 8,999 and Rs 12,999, respectively, until December 30, which is a fixed discount of 1,000 rupees. The Moto G5 and G5S differ mainly in terms of camera configuration.

The Moto G5 has a 5-inch Full HD screen, while G5S offers a slightly larger 5.2-inch Full HD screen. Both phones work with the Snapdragon 430 chipset and run Android 7.0 Nougat. The Moto G5 comes in two storage options: 2GB RAM variant with 16GB storage and 3GB RAM variant with 32GB of storage. The Moto G5S comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

The Moto G5 has a 13 megapixel camera, while the Moto G5S has a 16 megapixel enhanced main camera. Both devices offer a 5 megapixel front camera configuration. The Moto G5 is backed by 2,800 mAh, while the G5S is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery.

Motorola also offers the Moto M 4G variant in Rs 13,999, while the Moto M 3G variant is available in Rs 11,999, a fixed discount of Rs 2,000. Budget smartphones Moto C and Moto E will be available at Rs 5,499 and Rs 7,999, respectively, after a fixed discount of Rs 500.
