RRB Recruitment 2018: Update for Indian Railways jobs aspirants


The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has published an update on upcoming exams. It was assumed that the exams for the two notifications would take place in April / May, but there was no information until May 31. On June 1, the board issued an official circular declaring that “due to the unprecedented response of approximately 2.37 million requests for both notifications, the scrutiny of requests and preparations for the completion of the CBT are still ongoing.” The dates of the exams are not yet finalized.

He also said that the exam schedule will be published on the participating RRB websites after completing the required procedures. The application forms for the examination of the vacancy recruitment campaign ended on March 31.

According to the original schedule, the Indian Railways had planned to organize the gigantic test, which is a computerized test (CBT), in the months of April and May. It is the first stage of the two announcements, CEN 01/2018 and CEN 02/2018.

The long-awaited exam will recruit Group D publications, an assistant to Loco Pilot and other technical publications.

According to a Reuters report, a recent information made available by the Ministry of Railways, a total of 25 million registered job seekers for the exam. Here, the competition for the individual seat is among the 279 candidates, the total number of positions on offer is 89,409.

For the positions announced in the first notification (CET 01/2018), the applicant must have passed the secondary school and have an ITI certificate or a diploma in engineering or a graduation in engineering and for the positions mentioned in the second notification (CEN 02 / 2018), a candidate must have passed the high school and have an ITI certificate.

For Assistant Loco Pilot and Technical Assistant, there will be two stages of TCC exam.
