Paramilitary jawans deployed in Kashmir allowed air travel; govt issues order after Pulwama attack

This comes after Pulwama’s terrorist attack last week, when terrorists attacked a convoy of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). At least 40 jawans of the paramilitary force lost their lives in the attack that took place when the convoy of 78 vehicles transported more than 2,500 jawans from Jammu to Srinagar.

The convoy was attacked on the Jammu-Srinagar road south of Pulwama in Kashmir. After the last government order, the jawans can now book tickets on commercial flights and claim reimbursement from their organization or force.
