New Delhi: The super fast special train of the Railway Hotel and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) Vande Bharat Express (Delhi-Varanasi Train 18) began its commercial operations starting today, February 17, 2019, after which the honorable first Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, February 15, 2019. The first Indian Train 18 that sails on the Delhi-Varanasi route takes eight hours to complete the outward journey. The Vande Bharat Express (Train 18) equipped with the automatic climate control function covers a distance of 769 km from New Delhi to Varanasi in approximately eight hours. The special ultra-fast IRCTC train has only two stops between the New Delhi station and Varanasi Junction, namely Kanpur Central and Allahabad Junction. With the long-awaited launch of the Delhi-Varanasi 18 train, Vande Bharat Express, train tickets sold out until March 3, 2019, depending on the state shown on the IRCTC e-ticket website.
