Indian Railways celebrates as Howrah Rajdhani Express turns 50! How the journey today will be made memorable

The railway personnel deployed on today’s train will receive a special badge to use. The shelves that communicate the greeting message will be installed in five different locations. The welcome message will be displayed on the video wall of the station, on the train’s destination boards and will be communicated through the public address system of the station and on the train.

Route of Rajdhani Express: the prestigious 12301 Howrah Rajdhani Express runs between Howrah and New Delhi. It has stops in Asansol, Dhanbad, Parasnath, Gaya, Deen Dayal Upadhaya crossing, Allahabad and Kanpur. It takes around 17 hours to get to the national capital. On Sundays, 12305 Howrah Rajdhani goes from Howrah to New Delhi with stops at Barddhaman, Madhupur, Jasidih, Patna, the Dead Dayal Upadhaya junction, the Allahabad junction and the center of Kanpur.
