The man who allegedly threw a grenade at a bus at the Jammu bus stop has been arrested, according to Jammu and Kashmir, DGP Dilbagh Singh.

One of the 30 people injured in the explosion of a grenade at the Jammu bus stop has succumbed to his injuries at the Government Medical School and the Hospital. The deceased has been identified as Md Sharik, 17 years old, resident of Haridwar, Uttarakhand, tweet, IGP and tuitu.

Shortly after the incident, the police ran to the scene and cordoned off the area. Forensic experts were also called to raise evidence.

This is the third explosion of grenades in the vicinity in the last 10 months.

After midnight on December 28, the alleged terrorists threw a hand grenade near the police station at the bus stop. No one was injured in this attack.

Earlier, on May 24, three policemen and a civilian were injured in an attack with similar grenades at the bus stop under construction along the BC Road. The defendants were subsequently arrested.
