Country will face setback of 50 years if PM Modi not voted to power, says defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman

Before Lok Sabha’s crucial elections, Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the country would face a 50-year retreat if Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not return to power.

“If we relax and lose the momentum to have a strong majority government, we will face a setback of at least 50 years,” Sitharaman said as he spoke at an informal meeting organized by the Thinkers Forum in Bangalore on Sunday.

Sitharaman added that India would be disapproving of first-time voters if the work of the BJP is not recognized.

“And for those of us who were born in the 20th century, we will do a poor service to those who will vote for the first time.” We will harm the youth of this country by returning forces that have no delight in this country and dedication to the clean politics and dedication to putting the nation before themselves, “he asked.

Eluding the Prime Minister Modi, the Minister of Defense said: “In the history of any nation, it is not very common to obtain a leadership like the one you know.”

She stated that there was not even a whisper of corruption from 2014-2019.

“The last five years have been hard work. You see the Prime Minister without a break of a day working and all of us from our ministries are being dragged and inspired. A very obvious and notable difference between the previous government and the current one is that there was no whisper of corruption under the Modi ji mandate. That is why the president of Congress (Rahul Gandhi) probably feels the need to indicate or choose topics, “he said.

Affirming that the Lok Sabha elections of 2019 were essential for India, he said that “the 2019 elections for the Lok Sabha certainly are not any other election”. And in this election, we really can not take it lightly. Each one of us will have to be an activist. We have to do 10 times more than what we have done in 2013-14. The BJP will fight an election. In particular, under the leadership of Modi ji, we will definitely give a very good fight and win. ”

Sitharaman also said that the accusations of the opposition were not based on facts and that they could be lowered to any level to impose accusations on the BJP government.

“All verified facts, is it true that between 2014 and today in relation to 2004 and 2013, with the exception of Kashmir, has there been any terrorist attack / minor bomb in any other place in the country? Let’s talk about facts. “The accusations of opposition are not based on facts and could be inclined at any level to make accusations.”
