Chennai: In one shocking case, a customer of the food-aggregator application based in the city Swiggy found a bloodstained bandage on his food package on Sunday. However, Swiggy has suspended the exit from his list.
The web portal The News Minute (TNM) reported that the author was identified as Balamurugan, who had ordered food at a restaurant in Selaiyur. The author after eating half of his noodles discovered that there was a bloodstained bandage lurking in the package. The mentioned TNM report, Balamurugan wrote to Swiggy: “He contacted the restaurant and they are not sensitive and offer a replacement for the food, he wants to eat contaminated food! I tried to contact Swiggy, there is no option to call them directly through a application to receive the food already delivered and the only option is to chat, but they are not responding either! “
