Arvind Kejriwal’s Wagon R stolen from outside Delhi Secretariat

A Maruti WagonR emblematic blue car that Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal handled in his early political career and even camped during a shakeup in 2014 was stolen Thursday outside the Delhi Secretariat, police said.

The car was being used by Vandana Singh, the Aam Aadmi Party in charge of the youth wing and the party’s media coordinator, and was often parked in the party office at Deen Dayal Upadhya Marg in central Delhi.

Anto Alphonse, additional DCP (central), said the robbery occurred around 1 pm and was captured by a CCTV camera installed outside the secretariat.

“But the images are blurry,” said Alphonse, adding that the vehicle remains untracked.
