Indian retail conglomerate Future Group will be among the top 10 global fashion companies selling around 35 crore garments for the 2018-19 fiscal year, according to Kishore Biyani Group CEO, who said fashion units alone will generate revenue from $ 3-3.5 billion for the next prosecutor. Its operations are only in India, while other companies have a global presence, he said.
The largest player in the world has a capacity of around 120 million garments per year and the Future Group would have 35 million rupees, Biyani recently told a news agency.
Nike, Zara, Massimo Dutti, Pull & Bear, H & M and Oysho are among the top 10 global fashion retailers.
Future Group’s fashion stores, including Fashion at Big Bazaar (FBB), are managed by two companies, Future Retail and Future Lifestyle Fashions Ltd. The company, which owns fashion chains such as Big Bazaar, Brand Factory and Central, has built an integrated warehouse in Nagpur with a capacity of more than 30 crore garments.
Sell other brands along with your own and your portfolio covers formal menswear, casual wear, active or sportswear, ethnic clothing, denim clothing, footwear and accessories for men and women. The group has developed many of the brands for more than a decade and also has exclusive licenses and joint ventures with global brands.
The group recently unveiled a 30-year vision, Retail 3.0, planning to become the largest integrated consumer retailer in Asia in 2047 with revenue in excess of $ 1 trillion. (DS)
