Kaala box office collection Day 2: Rajinikanth film sets ticket windows on fire

The box office collection of the first day of Kaala set the record for the lowest box office opening in history for a Rajinikanth movie. However, the film seems to have gained momentum on its second day around the world.

According to reports, the film has reached one million marks in the United States, and has raised around 6.7 million rupees in the country.

Rajinikanth had achieved this record with films like Enthiran and Kabali.

In addition, the film has won approximately Rs.10 crore in Karnataka, despite initial bans, due to Rajinikanth’s views on the water dispute in Cauvery. However, now the movie is running successfully in the state.

On his second day, according to the first estimates, Kaala would have collected Rs 1.44 crore.

Although Kaala had a low profile promotion compared to other Rajinikanth movies, it still had an impact on the audience.

Kaala earned approximately Rs 200 crore, even before its release in terms of broadcasting rights and music rights.

Directed by Pa Ranjith, the film has Rajinikanth in the role of a gangster, who defends the rights of people in Dharavi.
