The wedding fever does not seem to stop soon. Whether in the stars of Bollywood or in the sensations of TV, love has been in the air. The last one to get on the bandwagon is the youngest daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, Soundarya Rajinikanth, who is ready to marry the actor and businessman Vishagan Vanangamudi. The duo will seal the agreement on February 11 in Chennai.
As reported by India Today, Rajinikanth’s wife, Latha Rajinikanth, approached the Tamil Nadu Police Department and wrote a letter to protect her daughter’s wedding ceremony, as well as the receptions that will continue. Reportedly, Latha wanted police protection since the ceremony could cause problems for the public due to the traffic jam.
Soundarya engaged with Vishagan in an intimate ceremony last year in the presence of her close friends and family. This will be Soundarya’s second wedding. Previously she was married to Ashwin Ramkumar, but the couple separated in 2016 due to “irreconcilable differences”. She is a loving mother to her six-year-old daughter, Ved Krishna.
Meanwhile, the duo’s wedding will take place in Chennai and the pre-wedding ceremonies will begin from February 10 onwards.
On the professional front, Vishagan made his debut in Vanjagar Ulagam by Manoj Beedha and has been part of some other films. Vishagan also runs a pharmaceutical company.
Soundarya, meanwhile, made her directorial debut with India’s first motion capture technology film, Kochadaiiyaan, starring her father Rajinikanth and Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone. Soundarya changed direction to graphic design and has worked in films such as Sandakozhi, Sivakasi, Sivaji and Chandramukhi.
