This was brought to light by a Mumbai-based journalist who took to Twitter and wrote: “A striking response to the homeless crisis in Mumbai from @HDFC_Bank (Fort branch)”. He added: “As others have pointed out, these anti-helpless peaks of the @HDFC_Bank Fort branch are not only a depressing gesture towards the hard sleepers of Mumbai, but they can also impale any pedestrian who has the misfortune to stumble and fall in this crowded passageway. ”

This was followed by several people who came forward to criticize this movement for HDFC.
