When it comes about the rivalry in telecom sector, if JIO is making its consumer base then Airtel too has pulled up its socks. Bharti Airtel, India’s biggest telecom operator has introduced several new recharge packs for prepaid mobile subscribers as a competitive strategy. If reports are to be believed then these recharge plans range from Rs. 8 to Rs. 399. JIO is known for bringing a pricing revolution in the telecom industry through its ultra-low cost data and free voice call offerings.
Here are some Airtel’s prepaid plans:
399 recharge plan: It offers 1 GB data/a day at 4G speed along with unlimited local and STD calls. It is targeted to counter Jio’s Rs. 399 plan which also offers unlimited local and STD calls along with 1 GB data per day for 84 days. However, the Rs. 399 recharge plan of Airtel is being offered to select prepaid customers.
349 recharge plan: Airtel is offering unlimited local and STD calls plus 28 GB data (1GB/day) for 28 days under this plan. This is one of the effective plans which can give a serious ride to Ambanis.
149 recharge plan: This plan of Airtel offers unlimited Airtel to Airtel calls plus 2GB data at 4G speed with 28 days validity. This is one of the intra-plan for Airtel users.
So, what say customers? Are you keeping your fingers cross for new innovative customer-friendly plans in near future?
